Chris DePalma - Co Host
I’ve spent two decades leading teams, developing people, and helping organizations grow, but at my core, I’m passionate about one thing: helping others reach their potential.
I have lived in the Frederick, Maryland area for 15 years, with my wife and two kids. I’ve worked in the corporate environment, where I’ve had the privilege of leading amazing teams, improving operations, and building a culture where people can truly thrive. My background blends leadership development, coaching, and performance management, and I love seeing people grow into confident, capable versions of themselves.
Air & Opportunity is an extension of that mission. It’s a space where Dario and I get to explore what it really means to grow, through mentorship, resilience, and community. We talk with leaders, role models, and everyday people about the challenges that shape us, the values that guide us, and the strength it takes to rise above.
At the end of the day, my goal, both in work and on the mic—is simple: to inspire growth from the ground up and help others find their own air and opportunity.
Dario Cavazos - Co Host
Dario Cavazos grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland, the son of parents who left San Antonio in search of something better. Though he didn’t grow up with a strong relationship with his father, his stepfather played an important role — teaching him discipline, responsibility, and the value of hard work. Still, there was always a part of him searching for a deeper sense of connection and identity.
Those early experiences — the lessons learned, the mentors who stepped in, and the quiet drive to become the man he needed — became the foundation for Air & Opportunity. The podcast gives voice to the stories, struggles, and victories that shape men and the paths they walk.
Today, Dario is a devoted husband to his beautiful wife Betsy, his bedrock and biggest supporter, and a proud father to two boys — Quincy (14) and Silas (11) — who inspire him every day to lead with love, strength, and purpose.
A community coach and financial professional, Dario uses his platform to pay forward the lessons that shaped him. Whether behind the mic or in his daily work, his mission remains the same: to remind others that no matter where you start, there’s always air in your lungs and opportunity in your hands.
